Quotes out sooner, orders entered once, late jobs spotted early

A quote request lands at ten to five and sits until morning. The order gets typed into the shop system, the shipping sheet and the invoice, and the customer calls midweek to ask where it is. We build the Quote-to-Ship System so a job moves from request to dock on one set of facts everybody can see. We build it for manufacturers, fabrication shops, distributors and logistics companies across Houston and beyond.

A fabrication shop. Two shifts.

What slips, and what the Quote-to-Ship System does about it.

  1. Request · 4:50 pm

    Sat in an inbox overnight

    Logged and assigned on arrival

Requests come in through a form on your website that collects drawings, quantities and material, then get logged, assigned to an estimator and acknowledged to the customer right away.

  2. Quote · 5 days

    Priced in a spreadsheet

Quote built from your price rules

Your material costs, labor rates, setup times and margins become price rules, so an estimator enters the job details and the quote builds itself for review.

  3. Order · Mon

    Retyped into three systems

    Entered once, everyone sees it

Once a quote is accepted it becomes the order, and the shop floor, shipping and billing all work from that same record.

  4. Status · Wed

    “Where’s my order?” calls

    Customers check status online

Customers get a link to a status page that shows where their order is, from in production to shipped, with tracking once it leaves your dock.

  5. Dock · Thu

    Paperwork missing at shipping

    Paperwork prints with the order

Packing lists, bills of lading and labels are generated from the order and print when it’s marked ready to ship.

  6. Owner · Fri

    No idea what shipped late

    Dashboard shows what's running late

A dashboard sets open orders against their promised dates, so you see what’s slipping while there’s still time to act.

What we build

Inside the Quote-to-Ship System.

  • Quote request intake

A website form that gathers drawings, specs and quantities, then logs and routes every request.

  • Quoting tool

Prices built from your own costs and rules, so quotes come out consistent no matter who writes them.

  • Order tracking

One record per order, from accepted quote to shipped, visible to the front office and the floor.

  • Customer status page

A simple page where customers check on their order instead of calling.

  • Owner dashboard

Open orders, promised dates and late jobs on one screen.

  • Your data and accounts stay yours.

Everything runs in accounts under your name. Once it's paid for, the system is yours too. How we handle your data

Straight answers

Questions owners ask.

We already have an ERP. Isn’t this the same thing?

No. Your ERP stays the system of record. We build the pieces around it that it handles poorly or not at all, like quote intake and a page your customers can check. We connect to your ERP or accounting system where it allows it, and we’ll tell you when keeping what you have is the better call.

Our pricing is complicated. Can a tool really quote our work?

It quotes the way your best estimator does, because we build it from their rules. Anything unusual gets flagged for a person to price, and every quote can be reviewed before it goes out.

Who can see our costs and margins?

Only who you choose. Role-based logins and least-privilege access keep margins with the office, the floor sees the job, and customers see only their own orders. An audit trail records who changed what.
