Apps and UI/UX design

Apps your customers get on the first try.

A good app doesn’t need instructions. We handle mobile app development from first sketch to launch, building iPhone, Android and web apps around what your customers are trying to get done, and we test them with real people so the first tap makes sense.

The day-to-day

Sound familiar?

  • “Customers call us to do things they should be able to do from their phone.”
  • “We have an app, but people download it once and never open it again.”
  • “I have an idea for an app, and I don’t know where to start or what it should cost.”
  • “Our booking screen confuses people, and they give up halfway through.”

The build

What we build.

  • iPhone and Android apps

Built for both, so your customers get the same app whichever phone they carry.

  • Design people get right away

Screens laid out around what customers came to do, with plain words, clear buttons and no hunting for the next step.

  • A clickable prototype first

You tap through the app before it’s built, and we fix what confuses people while changes are still cheap.

  • Tested with real people

We put it in front of people like your customers, watch where they hesitate, and fix it before launch.

  • Connected to how you work

Bookings, orders, payments and messages flow into the calendar, CRM or software you already run.

  • App store launch and upkeep

We handle the App Store and Google Play submissions, then keep the app updated as phones and store rules change.

How it goes

Three steps. No mystery.

  1. 01

    We map what people need

We start with what your customers are trying to do and the fewest screens it takes to get them there.

  2. 02

    You tap through it first

We design a clickable prototype, test it with real people, and change it until the first try works.

  3. 03

We build, launch and hand over

We build in working pieces and get it into the app stores. Once it’s paid in full, the app and its source code are yours.

No surprises

What this isn't.

  • Not an app for the sake of having an app. If a mobile-friendly website does the job, we’ll tell you.
  • Not a template with your logo on it that looks like every other app in the store.
  • We won’t launch something only our own team has tried. Real people test it first.

Straight answers

Questions owners ask.

Do I need an app, or will a website do?

Often a fast, mobile-friendly website or web app is enough, and it costs less. An app earns its place when customers come back to it again and again, for things like booking, ordering, checking a status or getting notifications. We’ll tell you which one fits before any build starts.

What does UI/UX design actually mean?

UI is what the screens look like. UX is whether people can get done what they came to do. We design both together, test them with real people, and fix the confusing parts before the final app is built.

Who owns the app when it’s done?

Your accounts are yours from day one, including the App Store and Google Play listings, and once it’s paid for, it’s yours too, the app and its source code included. We keep the reusable building blocks we bring to every project, but you can use and change them inside your app and hand them to any developer you like.

How long does it take to build an app?

It depends on what the app has to do. We agree on a first working version before work starts, show you working pieces along the way, and tell you plainly when something changes the timeline.

Let's find what's costing you.

Thirty minutes on the phone and you'll know the one thing worth fixing first — and what it's worth to fix it. No pitch, no jargon, whether we end up working together or not.
